Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Kenya National Innovation Agency. She holds a PhD in Chemistry from University of Nairobi, Kenya. She has pursued professional development courses in Corporate Governance; and Science, Technology and Innovation Policy Management and Development. Her current areas of interest are Science, Technology and innovation policy; research management and science advice. Dr. Guchu is also passionate about mentorship programmes for enhancing active participation of young people, especially girls in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) courses and careers.
